چکیده
Deep learning-based medical image analysis technology has been developed to the extent that it shows an accuracy surpassing ability of a human radiologist in some tasks. However, data labeling on images requires experts and great deal time expense. Moreover, usually have imbalanced distribution for each disease. In particular, multilabel classification, learning with small number labeled causes overfitting problems. The model easily overfits limited data, while still underfits large amount unlabeled data. this study, we propose method combines entropy-based Mixup self-training improve performance data-imbalanced chest X-ray classification. proposed is apply algorithm alleviate imbalance problem perform effectively utilizes iterating process by replacing teacher student model. Experimental results environment showed classification was improved combining self-training.

fuzzy-based medical x-ray image classification
in this paper a novel fuzzy scheme for medical x-ray image classification is presented. in this method, any image is partitioned in to 25 overlapping subimages and then shape-texture features are extracted from shape and directional information extracted from any subimage. in the classification stage, we apply a fuzzy membership to any subimage with respect to euclidean distance between feature...
متن کاملChest X-ray features extraction for lung cancer classification
This study presents a computer algorithm, which consists of four main steps (image acquisition, image pre-processing, nodule candidate detection, and feature extraction) for nodule detection in chest radiographs. Algorithm is applied on small-cell type of lung cancer (SCLC) and non-small-cell type of lung cancer (NSCLC) images. Total 50 images (25 from each category) were used to estimate geome...
متن کاملEvaluation of PERSH Criteria to Avoid Unnecessary Chest X-ray in Patients with Blunt Chest Trauma: A Qualitative Study
Background: Chest X-rays (CXRs) are traditionally performed to determine intra-thoracic injuries in all blunt chest trauma patients in Shahid Bahonar hospital in Kerman. As there are some disadvantages upon CXR and radiation exposure, therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the role of CXR in the diagnosis of intra-thoracic injuries caused by any blunt chest trauma. Me...
متن کاملPatient effective dose evaluation for chest X-ray examination in three digital radiography centers
Background: The radiation doses resulting from diagnostic X-ray examinations are routinely measured in terms of entrance surface dose (ESD) and effective dose (ED). In this study, for the purpose of radiation protection, the radiation doses received from Digital chest X-ray examination were evaluated in terms of ESD and ED. Material and Methods: The ED was calculated by using the MCNP ...
متن کاملThe preoperative chest X-ray.
The Oxford English Dictionary defines routine as "a regular course or procedure, a more or less mechanical or unvarying performance of certain acts or duties". Over tie past 20 years a chest radio-graph has become a routine part of the assessment of a patient prior to general anaesthesia. It is right that we should periodically confirm, or perhaps question, our reasons for performing any invest...
